TeamworksCom helps CorStone with new donor outreach program.

CorStone_Sonal_Reflect_590wCorStone, a Marin, CA based 501.3(c) non profit, recently turned to TeamworksCom (Teamworks Communications, Inc.) to help them develop a new, digitally delivered donor outreach and fundraising package.

Refocus on results.

Having just completed a new framework for their services, the CorStone’s Board and management team needed assistance with messaging to express CorStone’s value and deliver their story in an authentic way that captured the impact of the results of their work.

CorStone focuses their efforts on the marginalized, economically disadvantaged, and chronically under-served. Their pioneering work in cultivating personal resilience represents a significant paradigm shift in worldwide efforts to improve health, increase academic achievement among youth, and reduce poverty.

CorStone researches, develops and implements evidence-based resilience programs that combine a low-cost ‘train-the-trainer’ methodology with rigorous certification. Delivered in partnership with governments, schools and local community based organizations, their innovative and groundbreaking programs are effective, sustainable and scalable in even the most low resourced settings. Their programs with at-risk adolescents in low-income communities in the US and India have shown results above and beyond those achieved by traditional development interventions, by significantly improving mental health, school attendance and performance, and social skills and relationships.

Sharpening a message for additional support.

With a recent significant foundation commitment for funding their work in India, CorStone sought to supplement this validation of their work in the new donor outreach package. TeamworksCom developed and produced the marketing effort along with improvements to the program messaging. Executive Director, Steve Leventhal, added:
