Teamworks repositions Cloud9 Analytics with new messaging and a new web site.

In today’s hyper-competitive and slack economic environment, improving a company’s performance and increasing revenue through process automation has become a timely objective for many enterprise organizations. What’s more, recent research indicates that nearly half of today’s enterprise companies do not have timely access to important detailed financial metrics that can be used to assess the performance of a business and the changing opportunities that affect it in real-time. While many companies can provide information about the number of units shipped, the number of employees and customers they have, or the overall status of a project, few have ready access to the underlying details or what caused any of these vital metrics to change.

After decades of deploying disparate technologies, CRM systems and BI point solutions, the significance of this state of affairs cannot be diminished. And the reasons can be attributed to many factors including: it’s still too difficult and time-consuming to pull the data that’s needed together. Changing or re-prioritizing a business or individual objective takes too long to provide feedback on how to adjust behavior or action. And, if the information is ever delivered, it is often incomplete or inaccurate. What’s more, there is no opportunity for a sustainable working environment that can accurately measure performance. And more importantly, how is it possible to hold people accountable for their individual or team performance with so many unknowns and variables?

In order to make a business and the individuals in it more productive and effective today, companies will have to consider discarding the convention of expensive, difficult to deploy, alter and use applications if they are to increase performance and provide continuous measurement on the health of their business.

To that end, we recently helped Cloud9 Analytics launch their new Performance Management Applications and platform for the Front Office. As a natural outgrowth of Cloud9’s mission to deliver analytic applications directly to business users, their new suite of solutions offers front office managers the same kind of visibility and power the office of Finance has enjoyed for years with Corporate Performance Management (CPM) solutions. This new class of applications is designed to drive revenue growth by automating the planning, executing and optimization process for front office managers. With recent market momentum and more than 90 customers realizing revenue acceleration and performance gains today, Cloud9 wanted to capitalize on this market acceptance, recent industry recognition, and new venture funding.

Cloud 9 was seeking an experienced and qualified resource to help them present the benefits of their SaaS solution and how they were addressing the market needs in a public-facing company web site. The objectives of the site included:

• providing prospect education and a robust information resource for Cloud9 solutions

• supporting lead generation, social media and rapid content distribution efforts with a CMS

• accelerating the consideration, evaluation and pilot deployment of Cloud9 within an enterprise

To accomplish these goals, Teamworks Communications and our development partner, Tivix, developed, designed and deployed and exceptionally efficient and tailored solution that was launched in about 6.5 weeks.

Karen Steele, Cloud9′s Vice-President of Marketing, summed up the launch of the site: “Teamworks Communications talent, commitment and focused effort enabled us to reposition our company, communicate a differentiated strategy and product roadmap while supporting validation from customers and market influencers in an incredibly compressed time frame. All of the feedback we have received to date has been extremely positive about our message and how it is clearly delivered in our new web site. We plan on continuing to build out our online presence, extend our social media reach and increase demand generation initiatives in the US and in Europe. And we look forward to having Paul and his team help us succeed.”
